I really lOVE your new album!!! It is extremely well recorded and has a real warmth to the sound. The songs are EXCELLENT and come across as very honest, lyrically and in the delivery.
It is so refreshing to hear music which is in no way contrived or trying to sound like the latest fad in whatever genre. You really have come up with the goods on this one. It is definitely some of your finest work.
The recordings are emotive in the very best kind of way.
You have succeeded in breathing life into them and given them so much space and texture if you know what I mean. It sounds like you really know exactly what you want to put across to the listener. No compromise!!!

Schön wieder mal neue Songs von Lord Litter zu hören. Unverkennbar sind Stil und Atmosphäre, und diese sonore mitunter etwas raspelnde und doch warme Stimme ist eh einmalig. Mit Lefty Leech, seinem alten Kumpel, hat der Lord hier zehn neue Tracks produziert. Songs, die von den beiden schon das eine oder andere Mal live aufgeführt wurden. Ich muss mir das endlich auch mal in echt anschauen und anhören. Hauptsächlich akustische Instrumente, also Gitarren und ein bisschen Perkussion, kommen zum Einsatz. Dazu ein paar Keyboardtupfer zur Untermalung. Und den einen oder anderen Soundeffekt, das eine oder andere Sample zaubert der Lord aus seinem Computer zur Erzeugung bzw. Verstärkung von Stimmungen.
Eine ganz eigene Nische ist es, in der sich Lord Litter da eingerichtet hat. Letztlich ist er ein Singer / Songwriter, wie man so sagt. Mit einer Art Gothic Background, leicht verschrobenen Songideen und großer Gelassenheit, um nicht zu sagen Weisheit. Augmented Reality? Ist das jetzt Sarkasmus? Oder stehe ich auf der Leitung? Neue Helden brauchen wir? Ich denke „Season Of The Doomed“ trifft’s eher. Und was haben Paul (McCartney) und John (Lennon) damit zu tun? Fragen über Fragen. Ich fürchte, diese zehn verschrobenen aber auch anheimelnden, kurzweiligen und doch nachdenklichen Lieder geben auch keine schlüssigen Antworten. Oder allenfalls eskapistische. Das macht aber nichts.
Ich fühle mich gut unterhalten in diesen rund 38 Minuten, die vergehen während die CD läuft. „Dancing At The Gates Of Hell“, der Schlusstrack fast es treffend zusammen. Ein Moralist ist er also, der Lord Litter. Keine Ahnung wie viele Leute diese Platte kennen und hören. Viel zu wenige, fürchte ich. Es sollten mehr werden. ****
