The Rainbow Smoke Network ( RSN ) joins all world healing efforts with Music as our Soundtrack. Music is the International language and
the more freedom it obtains the quicker the world mends.
The RSN is collecting, and welcoming all world healing web site addresses. All visting the RSN Web will have opinion's, thought provoking
information, and solutions....right at their fingertips.
Musically, the RSN is connecting entertaining and well crafted non-mainstream variety music to Global Radio DJ's interested in receiving
same. There is no fee attached, and we are picky. Most welcome are those with good music, personality, and community spirt. Most welcome
Global Radio DJ's are those with open-minded formats, free from musical politics.
The RSN is " Slow Down Slower " in attitude containing no industry toxin's. We are an unchained state of mind with no agenda except
positive change. In both the world, and the music world...we see no future without it. Age old bad habits may already spell doom. If so.....let's
" Go Down Swingin' ".
The RSN can be YOU. Just bring a smile and a taste for the good life.
The RSN Global Radio Service
The RSN Global Radio Service is a combination of several things. It's basically an effort to connect non-mainstream music to DJ's around the
world who air non-mainstream music.
From the DJ's standpoint we try to pinpoint the exact tastes of music in which they prefer. For example, refering a Country CD to a DJ who
can't stand Country is a waste of everybody's time. We attempt to make every connection one that benifits both the recording artist, and the
DJ.
From a musical standpoint we are looking for recordings that showcase originality and entertaining qualities. The objective of the RSN Global
Radio Service is to score airplay and not load up a DJ's library with more lame music.
We are also looking for DJ's and recording artists that will exhibit some form of personality. We are looking for a sense of community that has
been missing for decades. It is our belief that the world of musical interest is ripe for change and that a sense of community will help speed up
the process in a most positive way.
The RSN Global Radio Service is void of any fee. In doing so we hope to lead by example the amazing power of giving. Age old bad habits
bore us to death and we are looking for some friendly caring life out there. A community that cares and gives has no limitations.
Not charging a fee has it's advantages. We can be picky and we are famed for our trial runs. If you're not showing us anything you might
never hear from us again. We have witnessed some of the best music on the face of the earth wearing a frown and a " Me First " Tattoo. We
have witnessed DJ's who get hung up in record label politic's and bogus charts.
While establishing the RSN Global Radio Service over these past four years we have witnessed every form of musical abuse and injustice on
the face of the earth. By design we have mingled in the mud and have smelled the flowers of what we feel can only work best. We are looking
for flower's, no more dirt-ball's please, we have paid our dues.
Our objective is to shake things up and to celebrate the constant evolution of entertaining music. Our efforts are as much concentrated
towards the listenner's and the consumer's as they are towards the DJ Pool and the Talent Pool. Our goal is to improve the quality of Global
Radio. Our belief is that nothing is ever going to get better for non-mainstream music unless more demand is created.
The RSN Global Radio Service contains several catagories.
From the Talent Pool :
1. The Elite : Those who are quick mailer's. Those who show excellent personality. Those who help us work towards a sense of community.
All enhanced if your music is really special to our ears.
2. Good to Fair : Those on the border of all of the above.
3. Fair to ? : Those with special music to our ears on a trial basis, hoping for, or to help generate some life.
From the DJ Pool :
1. The Elite : Those with personality who communicate with the Talent Pool. Those who send their playlist's to the Talent Pool. Those who
have open-minded format's catering to building their listenning audience. Those who help us work towards a sense of community.
2. Good to Fair : Those on the border of all of the above.
3. Fair to ? : Those showing some potential towards all of the above.
The RSN Global Radio Service is also about education. We are willing to showcase our opinion's and to share some helpfull tips to all of
interest. We also encourage the thoughts of the DJ Pool, the Talent Pool, and the listenner's and consumer's.
The RSN Global Radio Service is not a factory, nor are we industry minded. We are lazy, fun loving dwellers of the good life and it's musical
soundtrack. We are very far from perfect, but most important....we are trying. By example we're daring to be different and attempting to make a
positive difference.
