1978 - 1981 : ... the *Punk years*, we started as a 5 piece outfit with Rockin' Ronnie on guitar .. in the end we were three. Concerts 'n proper studio recordings with german *hate lyrics* screamed by yours truly ...

LORD LITTER solo
1984 - today: *official* begin of Litter solo work - the legendary first cassette release "Take the Trash" was already a definite *Roots* statement with songs like "I wanna be a No 1 Country Star".

1984 - 1987 : ... production duo with Mr. Whitfield, english guy living in Berlin. Besides all kind of material we produced *soundtrack music* ... used for advertisement slide-shows (probably these were my *Brian Eno / Godley and Creme years*) .... lotsa recordings ... transformed into GMB ..

1985 - 1986 : GMB (general music broadcast) a musical
cooperative, we produced music as a whole
band as well as in subgroups. We did some
rock, pop, film music, acoustics, electronics .. all
basicly.The band was nucleus and start of the
Music Factory (professional music management), which I later carried on with one
of the members.

Lord Litter solo
1987 - 1989 : ... most productive solo period, endless string of mostly cassette releases. The highlight from those days is probably the original double cassette "Lord Litter at the Hippodrome of Life" - CD re-release by Lonely Whistle Music (USA) in 2002.

Das Freie Orchester
1989 - 1992 : ... avangarde/free form band that started in the ex-GDR in the mid-80's. Litter joined the very day the wall fell in Berlin. The concept was there was no concept. We entered the stage with absolutely no idea what would happen next ... playin' jazz concerts as well as rock festivals ... often leaving a very irritated audience .. unfortunately no real wild pix left ... lotsa concerts .. lotsa releases ... in 1992 all was said and done, we split ...

Litter and The Lazy Sleepers
1992 - 1999 : .. started as the Lord Litter band playin rockin' rollin country influenced stuff ... two member changes formed Litter and the Lazy Sleepers .. slowly transforming into a harsh Rhythm 'n Blues outfit ... cool string of concerts ... recordings .. tasty sampler appearences like on Ball One with legends like The Yardbirds and Noel Redding. In 1999 it was once again time for a change .. looking for my own stuff now ... The Sleepers was my best band for many many reasons ..

Splisgar / Litter
1999 - today: sound-ician work with Andrea Splisgar, actor/performer, creating spaced out atmospheres for her unusual performances. Live shows with Litter being part of the stage set up.
